Jack R. Westerheide, age 83, of Columbia,
IL, born on August 27, 1928 in East St. Louis, IL, died
on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Sycamore Village,
Swansea, IL.
Jack was the owner-operator of Westerheide Sheet Metal.
He was a member of Sheet Metal Local 268 in Caseyville,
IL and an Inactive Member of the Knights of Columbus 6165 in Columbia, IL. Jack
enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, woodworking, stain glass
and most of all being with his family.

Earl W. Wilde, 85 yrs., of Columbia, IL,
passed away at the Columbia Rehabilitation and Nursing
Center, Columbia, IL. He was born in Columbia, IL, the
son of William and Gertrude (Hutsch) Wilde. He was
married to Jeanne (Buehler) Wilde, who survives him.
They were married on June 20, 1953, in Columbia, IL.

Schumacher
(October 23, 1943 - September 8, 2011) 67 yrs., of
Columbia, IL, passed away at Des Peres Hospital, Des
Peres, MO. He was born in Belleville, IL, the son of the
late Lester and Clara (Birch) Schumacher Baltz. Lester
had served with the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department
for over 40 years and had been a past Chief and past 2nd
Assistant, Inactive member of The Knights of Columbus
Council 6165, and was a Kloepper Grand Champion. He
had retired from Monsanto Corp., St. Louis, MO, where he
had worked as a pipe-fitter. He was married to Shirley
(Block) Schumacher, who survives him. They were married
on May 8, 1965, at Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Columbia, IL. <

John D. Kiefer, Jr., born 9/8/1929 in St. Louis, MO, died
6/5/2011 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was the son of the
late John D., Sr., and Cleta Kiefer. He had been married
to Barbara Kiefer for some 23 years, and had previously
been married to the late Ruth Kiefer for 38 years. She
had passed away in 1988.
He had worked at Luhr Brothers, Inc.,Columbia, IL for
over 38 years, had served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years,
and was a member of the American Legion Post in Perryville, MO,
for over 60 years. He was a Knight for over 45 years.

passed away on November 13, 2010, He was born in Mascoutah, IL,
the son of Alvin Christ of Belleville, IL, and the late
Josephine (Rieder) Christ. Joe's past and present memberships
and affiliations include; Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Columbia, IL, where he had served on the Parish Council
and School Board, was a Sir Knight for 44 yrs. in Knights of
Columbus #6165 - and 4th Degree Assembly 1529, Loyal Order of
Moose, Columbia Gymnastic Assoc., Columbia Sister Cities,
American Legion, Midwest Truckers, Owner/Operators Independent
Drivers Assoc., and Future Farmers of America. He had served in
the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves from 1953 - 1961.
